As SAP became increasingly critical to business operations, the customer needed to strengthen business continuity and disaster recovery readiness across its AWS environment. This meant establishing a structured approach to SAP HANA recovery, DR infrastructure readiness, failover and failback procedures, and RTO/RPO validation. Without consolidated monitoring, it was difficult to proactively identify issues across SAP, infrastructure, storage, networking, backups and replication health before they affected the business.
Adamas designed and operates a comprehensive AWS Managed Services framework spanning SAP disaster recovery, infrastructure monitoring, incident management and infrastructure administration. For DR, the solution uses SAP HANA System Replication between primary and DR environments, backed by continuous replication monitoring, documented recovery runbooks and periodic validation — with RTO/RPO testing built in as a repeatable process rather than a one-time exercise.
